Trixie
Trixie will be four years old on July 30th. She is a very sweet, lively girl who loves to play, and to de-stuff and de-squeak toys. She's a bright girl who walks fairly well on a leash, and knows several commands including "come", "sit" and "down". Trixie had never been around other dogs until she arrived at her foster home, but she has quickly learned to fit right in with the other three dogs there. She rides well in the car and gets along with cats.
Trixie suffers from separation anxiety. Her foster home is working to help her with a combination of medication and positive training, and while she is beginning to make positive strides, she will need to go to a forever home where someone is with her, or she can go with her human most of the time. A retired couple, or someone who works from home would be ideal for her. Trixie would probably enjoy having a companion dog, for those times when she will have to be left home alone.
Trixie is spayed, and up to date on her shots and heart worm preventative.
